Sir Keir Starmer plans to press supporting countries to deliver Ukrainian forces with further extended-range weaponry to target Russian targets during a meeting in Britain on Friday.

Britain's leader is set to welcome President Zelensky alongside what's known as "group of committed partners", comprising numerous of Ukraine's allies who have committed to provide the Ukrainian government protection commitments once a ceasefire is negotiated.

Ukraine's president has been urging for several weeks for more extended-range systems from allied countries, a move that Russia has warned would intensify the conflict.

The Prime Minister will urge participants to increase the supply of advanced missile technology following a successful attack on an industrial facility in the Bryansk region, the Russian Federation, using Britain-delivered advanced weaponry.
